The unprecedented transformation of the Communications Satellite Systems Industry by nascent NGSO megaconstellation deployments, worldwide rollouts of terrestrial 5G networks and continued exponential spread of fiber networks demand that innovative applications, architectures, systems and technologies be developed to ensure communications satellite systems maintain an integral role in worldwide broadband telecommunications.
The theme of the 38th ICSSC is “Space & Earth Based Communications and Navigation Systems: Challenges & Opportunities of the New Decade”. This will be explored throughout the conference in esteemed keynote lectures, plenary panels and parallel technical sessions. ICSSC is widely regarded as the world’s leading international conference on communication satellite systems. This year’s event will bring together researchers, practitioners and experts in academia, industry, space agencies and regulatory organizations around the world to examine challenges and potential solutions to address the emerging opportunities presented by the industry’s transformation. Participants will have a unique chance to network together, strengthen alliances and establish new partnerships and collaborations.
We are soliciting papers in all areas of activity covering the topics below. All accepted and presented ICSSC papers will be published by the Institution of Engineering and Technology
(IET) on the IET Digital Library and IEEE Xplore platform and indexed in Inspec and submitted for indexing in Ei Compendex and Scopus topics. Selected ICSSC
papers will also be published as chapters in a book titled Advances in Communications Satellite Systems.
